PCB assembly – assembly variants

PROTOTYPE or STANDARD:

  • Applying solder paste or glue - Jet Printer, automatic stencil printing, manual dispensing
  • SMT assembly - SMT assembly machines or by hand
  • Soldering - reflow, wave, rework station, hot-air
  • Inspection - optical and electrical (partial or complete functional testing)
  • Cleaning - manual IPA or ultrasonic cleaning
  • Division/cutting - in a panel or to individual pieces (cutting, grinding)
Safiral assembly of printed circuit boards Targeting the position of the future electronic component with a jetprinter on the printed circuit board. Subsequently, a pre-defined amount of lead-free paste will be applied for mounting the component.

Table of express surcharges of PCB assembly in the PROTOTYPE category:

Working Days 1* 2 3 4 5 - 8
Express Surcharge (%) 300 150 80 30 0

* available only after a previous agreement, according to specification

The PROTOTYPE category includes all orders that meet the following conditions:

  • maximally 100 component types per board type
  • maximally 5000 installed SMD components in one order
  • maximum 2000 soldered pins for TH components
  • material supplied by the customer must meet the criteria for machine fitting /link/ (reels, stripes, tube - not loose parts or scraps without sufficient reserve)
  • date for assembly starts the day after the completion of all material (plates, components, templates)

Working Days 1* 2* 3* 4 5 6 7 8 - 10
Express Surcharge (%) 400 200 100 80 60 40 25 0

* available only after a previous agreement, according to specification

The STANDARD category includes orders of the following type:

  • more than 100 types of components per board type
  • 5,000 - 50,000 assembled SMD components per order
  • 2000 - 10,000 soldered pins for TH components
  • material supplied by the customer must meet the criteria for machine fitting /link/ (reels, stripes, tube - not loose parts or scraps without sufficient reserve)
  • date for assembly starts the day after the completion of all material (plates, components, templates)
